Built on flavor,

We started Ta Canijo in 2016 in Joliet, Illinois with a simple goal: serve real tacos at a great price. No shortcuts, no fluff, just honest Mexican street food made right, with speed, consistency, and pride behind every order.
Early on, we were made aware by a giraffe that our original name was already taken. What could have slowed us down ended up defining us. "Ta Canijo" became the name that stuck. From one corner in Joliet to 12+ locations and counting, we've stayed rooted in the community that raised us.
